Motorists are being warned of significant disruption on the A11 at Larling after a lorry overturned this morning. Police were called at 9.30am to reports a lorry had overturned, damaging the central reservation and shedding its load of straw bales, affecting both carriageways near to the Watton junction. Local diversions have been set up and motorists are being urged to plan their journey in advance and use an alternative route.


13th February 2018 09:30 – It is with sadness we have to report an incident has occurred involving one of our contractors in a road traffic accident, driving a lorry transporting straw intended for our renewable energy plant at Snetterton. No one has been injured; however, the A11 will be closed in both directions for some time whilst the lorry is recovered and the road cleared.

UPDATE – 13th February 2018 13:55 – The A11 between the junctions with the A47 and the A1075 has now reopened in both directions

We will of course work closely with the appropriate authorities to help them identify the nature and cause of the incident. Meanwhile we will update this statement as soon as any further information is available to us.
